Day 1

Day one was surprisingly.....EASY.....the cookies taste more like bread to me and although they are not TO DIE FOR delicious-they are tolerable? Today: I had cookies and 2 DIET Dr. Peppers...yes you CAN have coffee, diet sodas and tea:) The cookies DO fill you up...I only had 5 today and never was hungry:) Tonight for dinner....we had a grilled CK breast and FRESH cauliflower, carrots and broccoli:) WOW...our friend Suzanne got us a rice cooker/steamer for one of our wedding gifts and the veggies steamed in there turned out 100% perfect!!!! WOW!!! I am pleasantly surprised because we used NO SEASONING!!! The diet DP thing is new to me...I love my Dr. Pepper...ughhhhhg

So some of you e-mailed me with questions: the cookie diet allows for 800 calories a day:) so the first week there is NO EXERCISE!!!! The exercise part...each person is different on this subject...but the Dr gave me a schedule so that at the end of the 4th week I am exercising daily.....so yes this diet does involve a lifestyle change and does incorporate exercise at some point but you do have to take it slow due to the reduced caloric intake:)

Also, no fruit and no sugar of any kind and low low sodium intake:)

So today was easy cause I was at work and busy with work stuff....so there weren't a lot of times that I was actually thinking about food or eating or wanting to cheat or anything.....so I am curious to see how the weekend goes:) I go back to the DR on Sat....and will have a one week report:) I would like to report back at least a 6 lb loss!!!!

ok, Me and Norm are baking cookies for tomorrow for the bball team....so far so good...no temptations to taste yet:) I have some extra steamed broccoli sitting out so if I need to nibble...I can have unlimited broccoli!!! lol

Thanks for all the encouragement today!!!
